It really depends on a company. Some companies (the few that I worked for) allow you to come home every weekend. So basically you are out 5 - 6 days and then 1 - 2 days of home time. Others (generally big companies) make you stay out 10 - 14 days at a time then give you 2 - 3 days home. Generally plan on having an average of 5 - 7 home days a month.
